OPI - I Saw...U Saw...We Saw...Warsaw

Hey girls! So I know I never post twice in less than two days but I had this color on over the weekend and I wanted to go ahead and take advantage and post it.

Another “true blue” OPI color that I absolutely cannot live without from this moment forward is OPI - I Saw…U Saw…We Saw…Warsaw. Just look at how fabulous this color is! A deep navy blue that is the exact same in the bottle as it is on your nails. This rich sultry blue screams out mystery as well as elegance. Perfect for any nightly occasion as well as for your daytime activities. Its creamy formula gives your nails a beautiful, shiny glaze and what’s even more perfect is that it goes great with any skin tone. Go on and give this beauty a try, let me know what you think!

China Glaze - For Audrey

Hey there girls! Happy Tuesday! I hope that you’ve all had a pleasant start to your week and that it goes by smoothly. Some of you are or have been on Spring Break, and I hope it’s been a nice one for all!
Writing in a blog is such a fun experience and writing about nail polish in a blog is simply quite remarkable. But, writing and going into details about my favorite nail polish colors, well that just brightens my spirit and makes my heart sing. China Glaze - For Audrey is a color in which I consider it to be a vital part of my collection. I remember the very first time I saw this color. Being that turquoise is one of my very favorite colors, I automatically was attracted to it. And, right after I took it in my hand, I read it’s name. No wonder I automatically fell in love with it. Two things about me that I absolutely love, Tiffany & Co., Audrey Hepburn and the classic American film, Breakfast at Tiffany’s. This pretty turquoise is the perfect shade for this spring as turquoise is one of the most popular colors for this season. So what better color to get for yourself than this perfect, happy, and breezy nail polish for all of your spring flings.

Try it out and let me know what you think!

Favorite Pastels for Spring

Hello beautiful girls! I hope you’ve all had a wonderful weekend and that your St. Patrick’s Day was super fun! As the first day of spring 2013 is just two days away, we decided to do a post on our very favorite spring pastels. After much review and trying on a multitude of colors, we were able to narrow down our list.

Starting off with China Glaze - Peachy Keen, this color is such a sweet delight. It’s name accompanies it perfectly. The perfect blend of orange and pink, it really does look like little peaches on your fingers.

Next, Essie - Mint Candy Apple, one of my favorites. This color has spring written all over it. Such a sweet and pure color. It's so different from the many blues and greens out there. One of Spring 2013's most popular colors as well. If you're looking for an original color, definitely think about trying Mint Candy Apple.

OPI - You're Such A BudaPest is a newbie. It came out in OPI's Euro Centrale collection and it's been a part of my nail polish collection ever since I laid eyes on it. The vibrant yet soft hue of purple is one of happiness and cuteness. Love it!

Essie - Borrowed and Blue... How can you not love this color? Just the name itself should make you smile. This powder sky blue is not only delightful in it's color but in it's consistency as well. Extremely easy to work with, goes on evenly and covers completely. Even though it's absolutely perfect for the season, it can definitely be worn year round.

Now, I have to fully admit that I am not a yellow person at all. But... this little jelly bean is one of my personal favorites! How awesome is a yellow color that looks great on all skin tones? Well, China Glaze - Lemon Fizz is just that. A pastel yellow that will bring a smile to anyone's face. This is going to be a color that I will treasure forever.

Being a girl that absolutely loves old movies, New York City, wit and fashion, it's safe to say that I love the movie Breakfast at Tiffany's with Audrey Hepburn. In that honor, China Glaze - For Audrey is one of my most favorite nail polishes in the world! It has the most spectacular color blue, of course just like the little box with the white ribbon. There is nothing I don't like about this color. I think every single woman should own it.

And last but not least, we have the adorable Essie - Van D'Go. This polish has just the right balance of pink giving it the ever so slightly peach color that it possesses. Easy to work with as well, two coats and it covers beautifully on your nails and tootsies. As a matter of fact, this will be one of the colors on my nails this year for Easter. Can't wait!

I hope you've all enjoyed this post and thank you so very much for stopping by!

Spring; Full Blooms and Flowers

Once in a while we find ourselves looking at our bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms and different areas around the house and ask ourselves, “what can I change?” or “how can I change it?”. But, I fear that you may be asking yourselves the wrong questions. Instead, ponder “what can I add to the room?” These are some difficult financial times and although people are staying afloat, a complete redecoration of the home may not be entirely possible. So, I’m offering the simplest way to give the room(s) you’re wanting to oomph up a bit a new and fresh dash of color. Flowers. There are new beginnings everywhere and the world is waking up anew. Fill a vase (or more than one) of your favorite flowers. Keep in mind that while yes, real flowers after a while do tend to add up in the cha-ching department, there are many places that sell spectacular artificial flowers. Michaels for one has a wide variety of flowers and taking advantage of their weekly coupons, they can come out to a great price. Below are some decorating ideas including flowers so you guys can get more or less of an idea to use in your rooms.

Orly - Pure Porcelain

Bonjour my darlings! I hope you all are having a beautiful day so far.

Now as some of you might agree, with so many beautiful and different polish colors why would you settle for a regular and boring and just… blah color, right? Wrong! Sometimes a neutral creamy color is a must!

At first when I grabbed Orly - Pure Porcelain, I was a little skeptical about it. I was afraid that when I tried it on it was going to be a super sheer polish more suited for a shiny gloss or a French manicure color than one to wear alone. I was pleasantly surprised when I learned that it was not. This polish is the most delicate and elegant color I have seen in a very long time. It’s name suits it perfectly. If you’re looking for a nail polish that will be more than perfect for any wedding, baptism, communion, etc., this should be your pick. You cannot go wrong with this color. I know that we all have different tastes but I fully recommend it to anyone.

Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

OPI - My Vampire Is Buff

Hey girls! Thank you for visiting our page once again. We’re proud to announce that we've reached 1,000 Likes on our Facebook page and we couldn't be happier. Even though we are a store, we love that we’re a part of such a huge community of nail polish lovers. We love being able to take pictures of different colors help you girls pick which shade is perfect for you. We hope you all enjoy reading.

Here we are with yet another fabulous color from the OPI Euro Centrale collection, My Vampire Is Buff. Now, here is the funny thing, for a very apparent reason, this color reminds me of Robert Pattinson and the Twilight series. It’s a pale white just like him and the name suits him just perfectly. I did find that with two coats, there were some streaks, so as you all know, I have a problem with full polish coverage, I used three coats this one. To each their own though darlings!

Hope you've all enjoyed this post. Talk to you next time!

OPI You're Such A Budapest

Good morning everyone! Hope everyone is staying warm with the cold temperatures that have been hitting us lately. I know that I might sounds irrational but 50-something degree weather for us Miamians is a big deal! We’re tropical weather people, haha! Not used to the cold but, nonetheless, enjoying the opportunity to wear our furry boots, pretty scarves and cozy sweaters.

I went ahead and went back to what I consider one of my signature colors, and took advantage of the fact that it’s from the OPI Euro Centrale Collection and blogged about it. I know, I know, that post is still pending. It will be posted this weekend, not to worry! I used OPI You’re Such A Budapest. This is such an original color. I can’t get over the fact that even though, yes, it is a soft purple, it does possess a vibrant hue to it. It goes on evenly and with two coats you’re just about ready. Apply your top coat and poof! You’re all set. I hope you all love this color as much as I do.

Thank you all for reading. I hope you’ve enjoyed this post.

Essie - Tart Deco

Brrrrr! Greetings from a cold Miami! The weather down here can be so unpredictable. It can be so darn hot and then all of sudden (during the winter months, of course) it can be cold. Raining one minute then beautiful sunshine the next, haha! Nobody can predict the weather down here. But anywho, I hope you’ve all enjoyed your weekend and have a good week lined up ahead of you.

I was feeling very orange-y this weekend so I decided to wear one of my very favorite Essie colors, Tart Deco. I love, love, love this color so much. It’s so fun and happy and just a perfect picker-upper. Adorable is not a fair word for it at all. This tangy hue will bring attention to those pretty little nails no matter where you are. I fully recommend this color to anyone, it’s great and it covers beautifully. I used two coats in the picture above.

Thank you for reading and I hope you’ve all enjoyed this post!
