Essie - Fifth Avenue

Good afternoon all! I hope that everyone has had a pleasant weekend and that this very anticipated week ahead goes by fast so the first long weekend of the summer can come already! Yippee!

I wanted to go ahead and break away a little from the pastels of spring into the more vibrant hues that will be attracting us during the summer months. So, I used one of the most classic Essie colors ever, Fifth Avenue. I didn’t want to go for an all “red” color. I wanted to use something that was more of a coral orange-red. It’s creamy consistency allows it to go on easily on your nails and what’s best is that it’s streak free! Two coats and that’s all you need! Definitely recommend it to anyone that wants to give it a try. You won’t regret it!

All Color Wonderful

Hi everyone! So I want to go ahead right now and apologize for being a little MIA these last couple of days. Things got a tad bit busy and I hadn’t had a decent chance to sit down and write. I hope that all you wonderful mothers out there had a beautiful and memorable Mother’s Day.

Being that we are nearing summer and every single store is popping with these beautiful, vibrant slews of colors, I went ahead and went a little color crazy with my nails as well. For the blue, I used China Glaze–Aquadelic, which is a beautiful creamy turquoise color that is the definition of perfect. Non-streaky and easy to use. For the orange, I went with an oldie but a goody; I used Essie-Fear or Desire. Another great color, in my opinion. It’s just a fun, happy orange that’s perfect for summer. For the pink, I used Essie-Castaway, one of my favorites. And lastly, for this beautiful gold glitter, I just had to use China Glaze-Cleopatra. There are no words to express how much I love this glitter. I mean, just look at it. Isn’t it ravishing?

I hope you’ve all enjoyed this post and thank you for reading!

China Glaze - Kinectic Candy & Peachy Keen

Hey girls! I hope you all had a great end of the week and that the weekend ahead of you is beautiful and full of some fun. So this week for my nail polish color(s) I chose to go with two of my favorites. Granted, I know that generally when speaking of favorites, it usually applies to two or three things at most. However, my definition of favorite might be a tad bit extensive. Haha!

Anywho, I went with China Glaze’s Kinectic Candy and Peachy Keen on my accent finger. To add a little sparkle, I used one of my all time “favorite” clear multi-colored glitters, Color Club’s Starry Temptress. I thought my nails looked so fun and fresh with these colors and I’m so excited to start using the more vibrant, bright polishes as summer approaches. I used two coats of each of the colors minus the glitter. For that, one coat was enough for me.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this post and have a wonderful weekend! Thank you for reading!

OPI - Lots of Pink & Pretty Things

Hi all! I hope your week has kicked off to a good start and that it’s going by smoothly. So, as I’m sure that you can infer from my blog page and logo, I’m a lover of the color pink. My favorite color, actually. So with that being said, I had noticed while going through my pictures on Instagram and posts on here, I hadn’t painted my nails with a good ole’ fashioned Barbie pink in quite some time. What the heck?!? Totally slipped by me! Although, it is semi admissible with all the recent beautiful colors my favorite brands have been releasing, I simply had to go back to my signature color. So in light of that, I had to embrace what I consider to be a big part of my childhood and of me today through my nails. Barbie, sparkles, bows, pink and Minnie Mouse!

For today’s mani, I used OPI - If You Moust, You Moust and on my accent finger, I used OPI - Teenage Dream. I cannot tell you how much I love these two colors. Separate or together, doesn’t matter. I think that these colors go so well and provide such a beautiful and even coating on your nails. If You Moust, You Moust has such a pretty, creamy pink finish to it and Teenage Dream, although a glitter, has such a nice cover-up. I love it.

If you haven’t tried these colors, I strongly suggest that you do. I’m sure that you’ll love them just as much as I do. Now after doing my nails with these colors, I REALLY want to go to Disney World. Oh well… Hehe!

Thank you all so very much for reading, I hope you’ve enjoyed this post.
