Dreaming in Blue

Good evening all and Happy Friday! The weekend is finally here!

When I looked at my calendar this morning, I couldn't believe that it is the last day of January. Oh mon dieu! When, where, why?!? Haha! But I'm looking forward to February as it is such a sweet month. filled with love.

As the winter months progress, I start to have small dreams and desires to be next to the ocean. Dreaming of blue hues and white foamy waves call my soul and immediate get me thinking of beautiful azure colors. Today's color is blue with the slightest bit of gray and one of my very favorites year round. Essie - Cocktail Bling should be owned by any nail polish lover.

Beautiful coverage for a light color and amazing formula to work with. If you're looking for an out of the ordinary color, this one is a definite go-to.

I hope you've all enjoyed this post and until next time!

Caviar Love!

Good afternoon all! Wishing you guys a lovely and happy Monday!

Holy cow am I obsessed with this week's mani! I wanted to go with a light color to get out of the funk of the darker more neutral colors so as a base I went with one of my all time favorite Essie colors, Ballet Slippers and then on my index finger I used the glitter from OPI's new Gwen Stefani Collection In True Stefani Fashion. Then alas, on my ring finger, I used my newest and most adorable obsession, the light pink caviar shown in the picture below. How stinkin' cute is that?!?

Very easy to apply both the polishes and the caviar. If you'd like to see a video on how I did everything, please let me know and I will.

Thank you all for reading and have a lovely day!

Essie - Warm & Toasty Turtleneck

Hello hello darlings! I hope that you've all had a lovely Monday and a Happy Martin Luther King Day! Cutting to the chase, temperatures down here in Miami have been dropping like you couldn't imagine! I mean, sure it's about time but wow! Talk about winter chill! So without any doubt, the weather definitely inspired this week's color. I went with the beautiful and new Essie - Warm & Toasty Turtleneck.

This color is the most adorable shade of purple and gray you've seen. Not the typical light pastely purples we're used to seeing. This is more of a medium purple. Covers flawlessly and is full of a beautiful even shine. I used my base coat, two coats of polish and my top coat.

Thank you all for reading and have a lovely day!

Chilly Weather

Good afternoon all and Happy Monday! Hope you've all had a fabulous weekend and that this work week goes by like a breeze.

I went with a classic this week, an old time favorite, as well as something new. OPI's newest Mariah Carey Holiday Collection contained a bunch of fascinating new beautiful Liquid Sand colors. As an accent color, I used OPI - Silent Stars Go By and for the rest, I used Essie - Chinchilly. I absolutely love the combination of these two together because as Chinchilly is a gray color, it can sometimes look a little dull. However, when you throw some glitter in the mix, the combination of the two can be quite lovely.

I loved how these colors looked on and got so many compliments on them as well! Both of these colors are available in our shop so don't hesitate to send us a message.

Thank you all for reading and I hope you've enjoyed this post!

Happy New Year!

Good afternoon! Happy New Year to all! I wish that 2014 brings a year full of happiness, health and prosperity to each and every one of you.

Using the opportunity of it still being very much winter and dark colors are still trending, I used a color that I had not really thought about using before although I honestly think it's beautiful as well as a classic. Essie - Over The Edge is a must have. It's metallic finish gives a cool steel effect and it also paints on evenly, streak-free. I definitely recommend it to anyone.
